BM78 1.0 SYSTEM OVERVIEW
The BM78SPPS5MC2/NC2 is a complete and fully reg- ulatory certified module with an integral ceramic chip The BM78 module is a fully-certified, embedded  antenna and RF shield. The BM78SPP05MC2/NC2 is 2.4 GHz Bluetooth (BR/EDR/LE) wireless module. It a low-cost alternative with RF-out pin (for external includes an on-board Bluetooth stack, power manage- antenna) and no RF shield. The integrator is responsi- ment subsystem, 2.4 GHz transceiver, and RF power ble for the antenna, antenna matching, and regulatory amplifier. Customers can embed Bluetooth functionality certifications. into any application using the BM78 module. The BM78 module is a small, compact, and sur- The BM78 module enables rapid product development face-mounted module with castellated pads for easy and faster time to market, and it is designed to provide and reliable host PCB mounting. It is compatible with integrators with the following features: standard pick-and-place equipment and can inde- • Simple integration and programming pendently maintain a low-power wireless connection. • Reduced development time Low-power usage and flexible power management max- imize the lifetime of the BM78 module in battery oper- • Superior wireless module with low-cost system ated devices.
