Datasheet 12A 180KHz 40V Buck DC to DC Converter XL4016 Features General Description Recommended operating voltage range The XL4016 is a 180 KHz fixed frequency 8V~36V PWM buck (step-down) DC/DC converter, Output Adjustable from 1.25V to 32V capable of driving a 12A load with high Maximum Duty Cycle 100% efficiency, low ripple and excellent line and Minimum Drop Out 0.3V load regulation. Requiring a minimum Fixed 180KHz Switching Frequency number of external components, the 12A Constant Output Current Capability regulator is simple to use and include Internal Optimize Power MOSFET internal frequency compensation and a High efficiency up to 96% fixed-frequency oscillator. Excellent line and load regulation Built in thermal shutdown function The PWM control circuit is able to adjust the Built in current limit function duty ratio linearly from 0 to 100%. An over Built in output short protection function current protection function is built inside. Available in TO220-5L package When short protection function happens, the operation frequency will be reduced from 180KHz to 48KHz.
