TLP5231 8. Recommended Operating Conditions (Note) Characteristics Symbol Note Min Typ. Max Unit Total output supply voltage (VCC2-VEE) (Note 1) 21.5  30 V Negative output supply voltage (VE-VEE) (Note 1) -15  -6.5 V Positive output supply voltage (VCC2-VE) (Note 1) 15  30 - (VE - VEE) V Positive input supply voltage VCC1 3.3  5.5 V Input on-state current IF(ON) (Note 2) 5.3  12 mA Input off-state voltage VF(OFF) (Note 2) 0  0.8 V Note: The recommended operating conditions are given as a design guide necessary to obtain the intended performance of the device. Each parameter is an independent value. When creating a system design using this device, the electrical characteristics specified in this data sheet should also be considered. Note: A ceramic capacitor (10 µF) must be connected between pins 9 (VEE) and 13 (VCC2), and a ceramic capacitor (1 µF) must be connected between pins 13 (VCC2) and 16 (VE), and pins 9 (VEE) and 16 (VE) to stabilize the operation of the high gain linear amplifier. Failure to provide the bypassing may impair the switching property. The bypass capacitor should be placed within 1 cm of each pin. Note 1: If the rising slopes of VCC2 and VEE are so steep, the internal circuit operation may not be stable. In that case please design the slopes that VCC2 and VEE go up to become 0.1 V/µs or less. Note 2: The rise and fall times of the input on-current should be less than 0.5 µs. ©2019-2020 5 2020-03-02 Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation Rev.2.0
